The presentation of the Republic of Croatia with the exhibition Speculative - post-design practice or a new utopia? was organized by the Croatian Ministry of Culture and the Croatian Design Society as part of the XXI Milan Triennale.

The task was to design a system of exhibition elements suitable for traveling exhibitions, where particular emphasis was placed on the practicality of transporting elements and their frequent stacking and installation.

In accordance with the concept of the exhibition, the pedestals are designed as a visually unobtrusive base for the exhibits that connects, emphasizes, and elevates them. Through a large number of thin white rods that serve as legs, the impression of airiness and floating of the upper surfaces is achieved. The mutual intersection of vertical and slightly inclined rods simultaneously suggests the overlapping of different disciplines that characterize speculative design. Along with the pedestals, wall LED panels were designed with additional information about the exhibition.
